A Ditloid is a word puzzle in which a phrase or quote must be deduced from the numbers and abbreviated letters in the clue. Common words such as ‘the’, ‘in’, ‘a’, ‘an’, ‘of’, ‘to’, etc. are not normally abbreviated.
